Encompass Mining Solutions are a leading Australian firm specialising in Mining Engineering, Geology Services, Geotechnical Engineering, & Corporate Advisory Services. Encompass engaged the Engineroom team in 2023 to help refresh and repositioning their brand.
Our Approach
Taking an evolutionary step beyond the existing Encompass Mining brand identity, the new design used the existing brand colours of black and red to provide visual continuity, but modernised the logo into a strong and industrial looking brand mark.
The tagline developed during the brand strategy, “Unlock the potential of your resource” connects with the new brand mark, which while combining the letters M & E graphically, also resembles an unlocked padlock, further emphasising this message and connecting visually to the name.
This design provided continuity with the existing brand in the colours used, but expanded the reach of the business beyond simply just coal mining, now communicating the broad and varied ways in which Encompass Mining can help their clients maximise the potential of their resource and project.
After developing a striking and bold logo and identity, Engineroom worked with the team to completely overhaul all of their marketing and communication collateral included printed brochures, document templates, their social media and website.
The Results
After conducting in-depth industry research and a creative workshop with the team, we provided a strategic brand positioning for Encompass Mining which leveraged their experience and reputation and aligned them with their business goals.
This strategy provided a springboard for their new Brand Identity to be developed which saw Encompass come to life, reflecting their values as a business and as individuals and becoming a true reflection of their brand promise.
