Cubitt's
Perfectly Skilled, Proudly Respectful and Constantly Committed
For over 29 years, Cubitt’s has been a trusted name in Australian residential construction, specialising in high-quality Granny Flats and home extensions. As the business prepared to launch a new range of contemporary designs, they sought a refreshed brand identity that would better reflect their upmarket positioning and premium service offering.

The Challenge
Cubitt’s needed a brand evolution that could convey their rich history while embracing the forward-thinking, modern aesthetic of their new product line. The challenge was to maintain the brand’s recognition—particularly the house icon in the logo—while creating a more refined and confident identity to help Cubitt’s stand out in the competitive residential construction market.

Our Approach
Engineroom took an evolutionary approach to the rebrand, carefully balancing the desire for familiarity with a need for modernity. The new logo retains the original house icon but is elevated with bolder lines and a more confident, contemporary look. By combining two simply structured icons, the logo now represents both a house and a Granny Flat or home extension, seamlessly capturing Cubitt’s core services.

"The brand development work conducted by Engineroom Design to bring together the Cubitt’s vision was a joy to see unfolding. As a residential builder moving from a family owned and designed brand concept to a collective brand and design package which reflected our heritage and values, we could not have been happier with the work produced by Engineroom Design.
Our collaboration with the Engineroom team’s executives and creatives was harmonious, respectful and creatively expansive. Everything which one would hope for and seek in a creative and commercial design partner. With the new aesthetic, which reflects the Cubitt’s of the future, we have seen commercial benefit and more importantly an elevated sense of pride in our team, who proudly wear the new Cubitt’s motif, created by Engineroom, with a great sense of satisfaction and delight.
