The Forum

The Forum Sports and Aquatic Centre and The Forum Harbourside, briefed Engineroom design on producing two 60 second corporate videos to showcase their facilities and highlight the diversity both centers offer the community.

The videos showcased the state-of-the-art pool facility at the University campus including the learn to swim program, squad classes, lap swimming and water aerobics. Various Group Fitness Classes were featured including The Forums’ unique program SkillAthletic, as well as footage of personal training sessions, the Cycle Zone and the Cardio Zone. The social sport programs featured teams playing basketball and badminton on the indoor courts at The University of Newcastle.

Reinforcing the beautiful location of The Forum Harbourside, the team ensured they captured footage of people exercising on Newcastle Harbour. All aspects within the Newcastle CBD precinct were featured including the Cardio Zone, Cycle Zone, Training Zone, various Group Fitness Classes, the Strength Training Zone and finally personal training sessions.

Due to a limited budget the crew consisted of a cameraman and Account Director only onsite. Footage from both the University of Newcastle and Harbourside locations was captured within half a day at each of the locations. Talent featured were members and staff of The Forum Sports and Aquatic Centre and The Forum Harbourside.

The videos are featured on The Forum’s website as well as being used across their social media channels to promote the business and their facilities.
